Dealing With A Snorer
Snoring from a significant other or from someone in the same room can prevent you from getting a good nights sleep. Some things you can ask the snorer are:
- Have the snorer look at the Stop Snoring Tips section.
- Wear earplugs to filter out the noise.
- Make an arrangement where you'll go to sleep first and the snorer goes to sleep only after you have fallen asleep.
- Avoid taking naps during the day which will make you more tired at night and help you fall asleep easier.
- Exercise during the day so you'll be more tired by the time you go to sleep and will fall asleep faster.
- Work out a sleeping arrangement where the snorer and you sleep in different rooms.
- If the snorer is keeping you from sleeping, either call out their name or give them a little nudge and request that they sleep on their side which will open up their airways and reduce the snoring.
